During the closing convening of the July 2017 National Summit on Volunteer Engagement Leadership in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, a temporary task force was appointed to develop a structure for leveraging and convening existing networks, organizations and individuals for the purpose of driving a national conversation about the power and potential of volunteer engagement and encouraging collective action for nationwide engagement strategies.
